One of Imperial Engineering’s longest standing supplier partners for bus and coach parts, Knorr-Bremse, has won the ‘Best Brand’ title in the bus brakes category for the 13th consecutive time, in a readership survey conducted by German automotive publishers, Euro Transport Media (ETM).
Each year, ETM invites readers of its three most widely read commercial vehicle magazines in Germany to vote for the best brands in the industry. An endorsement from this audience is widely respected as a seal of quality for the safety and reliability of the winning brands and their products. In 2018, the readers of Trans Aktuell, lastauto Omnibus and Fernfahrer magazines again voted Knorr-Bremse the number one OE manufacturer in the bus air brakes category by a clear margin. This is the thirteenth time in succession that the leading systems partner to the commercial vehicle industry has won this accolade.

Imperial Engineering is the primary independent specialist air brake supplier to the UK’s bus and coach industry. The company has been an authorised distributor for Knorr-Bremse bus air brakes since 1995, a partnership which goes from strength to strength, according to Imperial’s Sales Director, John Dwight.
